Mahtab Jamali is a fashion designer, photographer and a model . 26 years of age, Mahtab was born in Iran as a daughter of a very artistic and fashion-orientated family. Throughout her life, she has always admired her mother's beauty, talent, sense of power and femininity in which she injects into creating the dresses she makes. It was through this that inspired the passion Mahtab possesses in her ...glamourous and creative world of fashion. Her mother is her best friend whom she learned everything from - not only fashion, but of life itself. The influence and the development of her talent drew Mahtab to name her brand label after her mother - Katayoon.
As a child, her creations began in making clothes for her dolls and barbies with scrap fabric found in her mother's workshop, and it was through this that she was drawn into fashion.source
