"In her first season for Chloé, Creative Director Clare Waight Keller considered the mood of the Chloé girl and discovered a multitude of feminine personalities that define the brand. “I looked at festival girls,
girls on the street and David Bailey’s photos of Marie Helvin and Anjelica Huston on a beach”, says Keller. "There’s a sense of feminine complicity, sensitivity and sunniness in this collection."

Powdery pastels, makeup shades with nudes and pinks and soft bright accents define Chloé’s spring palette. The attitude is confident, but charming and relaxed from day into evening with the shirtdress in crepe de chine, or handkerchief light cotton/linen. Blouses are simply chic in the season’s naïve floral prints, or in a play of pleats. In fact, pleats run throughout the collection and show notably as marquetry inlays, or over printed pleats forming sunray stripes. Mismatched scale prints with mini and maxi florals are also mixed together. Spring jackets are supple, but structured, in double weight Cady. Pants are fluid and shorts are a staple, from just below the knee to lingerie.
